Liverpools goalless draw at home to Bayern Munich in their Champions League tie is worse for the German side, Jurgen Klopp has suggested.The Bundesliga giants stifled the Reds effectively to grind out a 0-0 result going into the second leg of the last-16 tie at the Allianz Arena on March 13^th.3

Although Liverpool were not as creative as they could have been, they were guilty of missing chances, particularly in the first-half, going close through Sadio Mane and two efforts from Mohamed Salah.Meanwhile, defender Joel Matip could have scored at both ends before the break firstly he nearly diverted a cross into his own net, forcing goalkeeper Alisson into making a point-blank save before having his goalbound shot well blocked by Mats Hummels.The Liverpool players had a slightly dejected look about them when the final whistle was blown, however, Klopp was fairly upbeat after the game particularly because Liverpool did not concede any goals despite playing without defenders Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Dejan Lovren.3

Speaking after the game, Klopp insisted the draw will feel better as time progresses.He said: We have three weeks and day by day the result will feel better for us and a little bit worse for Bayern!Its a 0-0 and the best draw you can get but it will be a tough one to play at Bayern.If we won 1-0 tonight, what would have changed really? Not perfect [the result] but good enough to work with. Meanwhile, Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski gave a very reserved answer on his teams chances going into the second leg.He said: “That was a very difficult game. Yes, we have the second game at home but we will see.“It’s 0-0. Maybe we could have scored a goal but this is the Champions League and you have to play two games very well.”3
