Ajax supporters set off fireworks outside Tottenham’s team hotel in the early hours of Wednesday morning in a bid to disrupt Spurs’ preparations for their Champions League semi-final second leg clash.Spurs are staying at the Van der Valk Hotel in Amsterdam Zuid, having arrived yesterday for this evening’s tie against Ajax, which you can listen to LIVE on talkSPORT!The north Londoners lost the first leg 1-0, so must come from behind if they are to reach their first ever Champions League final.1

But their pre-match sleep was disrupted as Ajax ultras lit fireworks outside their hotel to wake Mauricio Pochettino’s players up! A video shared on social media shows a huge light show outside the Van der Valk which is understood to have taken place around 5am.

According to NLTimes, the Tottenham players were woken up by the fireworks, which is hardly a positive as they need rest before perhaps the biggest game of their season.
