But their pre-match sleep was disrupted as Ajax ultras lit fireworks outside their hotel to wake Mauricio Pochettino’s players up! A video shared on social media shows a huge light show outside the Van der Valk which is understood to have taken place around 5am.According to NLTimes, the Tottenham players were woken up by the fireworks, which is hardly a positive as they need rest before perhaps the biggest game of their season.
