France winning the World Cup this summer rightly sparked huge celebrations in the country among football supporters, but it appears some have taken it a little too far.As a permanent tribute to Les Bleus clinching their second success in the competition, one couple are trying to bestow the name Griezmann Mbappe upon their little boy.1

These are of course the surnames of Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe, who both played a starring role in Russia, and unimpressed officials are seeking to ban the football-mad couple from making it an official name.If prosecutors agree that such an name could cause the child problems in later life, a family court could order the couple to change it to something more suitable.The child was born earlier this month in the central French town of Brive.
